Finally a shop in town re-stocked some Gold Dots in 230 grain .45 Picked up some today,and promptly set up and tested it.
Feeds/functions perfectly in my .45, even from mags with mixed loaded of GD/FMJ/GD,etc.
Tested on denim and water jugs- perfect. Goes through 3, stops fully-expanded inside the 3rd.

Tried to hunt down some HSTs locally,also, but no one is stocking them.. but, Im perfectly fine with GD's for home and carry.

The other 2 rounds in the above pics were double-tapped into wetpack. Clogged the cavity-as expected-and continued on through the 1st phone book, and about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through the second.
