when i joined this forum in 2013 open carry was still not the norm throughout this great nation...
due to my background, both military & civilian, this individual was trained, so it has become second nature, to minimize/mitigate hearsay misinformation by providing appropriate & reliable cites to documentation so the military leaders & civilian senior leadership could verify the information provided to them as was done on this site. this trait also applied to those state level organizations who used smoke and mirrors in their hearsay nonsense of accomplishments to bilk citizens out of their money to support their alleged organizational purpose using 2A as their holy grail...
this individual upon returning from over 15 years of extensive travel across this world's continents obtained appropriate creds so i could enjoy almost 30+years actively training this nation's civilian citizens, young adults & adults, literally across this country, so these individuals can be knowledgeable in safe handling, legal mandates, so they can skillfully carry their pistol/rifle/shotguns, but specifically SD handguns to use their knowledge/training capabilities if there is a threat against their life and towards their loved ones...
i have had the great privilege over the years, of personally interacting regularly w/dale, paul, double tap, user, the kind folks in WA as well as attending several of the initiative rallies, several of the OC walks in ohio, and even said hello to eye95, as well as others across the country who have, much to my chagrin, ceased contributing to this site for whatever their rational.
after 9 years, i have grown extremely weary of those who insisted on taking my challenges to their hearsay misinformation they presented as gospel to the membership they heard on newspeek/social media or from the bloke down the road who heard it from their grandmother. a recent example was the extremely reckless statements as their hearsay information could have cause significant judicial interaction if any citizens in NY heeded the USSC ruling allowed the citizen to carry their firearms.
there is absolutely no reason to endure this kind of ongoing public disrespect from members as the activity is truly unconscionable in my opinion and as someone stated...the antis can and has use it against the cause.
on the whole, this site's membership, with minimal exception, is the main reason citizen's OC has succeeded across this great land -- and i am extremely proud to be a major contributor to this group's success over the years...
