We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. Isn't it likely that most of the confiscations would be in those heavily democratic urban strangleholds? I would be willing to bet that the majority of rural areas, regardless of what state, would resist those "thefts".

I suspect that you are correct...the argument would be moot if cops respected the 2A without reservation....and thus all anti-2A laws would be rendered ineffective and relegated to the dust bin of legislative history.
Sadly, there are a number of cops who would do their master's bidding willingly and comply with any unconstitutional order to forcibly disarm their fellow citizens. I'll wager anyone could name several states, off the top of their head, where this would be the case.

Not only "willingly", there are more than a few who either are or believe they are "morally superior" or "better trained" (use your own descriptive phrase) than the rest of us and that we shouldn't have guns. Period.

Just had two cars ransacked in my driveway the other night. Called our township police to stop by. Provided them two MP4 videos of the perpetrator. The guy also broke into another car up the street. They also provided the officer copies of their videos. As good as our police are in our township they get no access to private cameras. They don't want access because of the liability that attaches.

Not that I have heard. My camera didn't get a good shot of his face, but supposedly the house up the street did get a good shot of his face.
