Many will, to be sure...not because they wish to have a safer societal experience...they fear, and rightly so, being gunned down in their home when cops go door to door to confiscate guns...and the cops have that going for them...though, Indiana may be the exception...

Isn't it likely that most of the confiscations would be in those heavily democratic urban strangleholds? I would be willing to bet that the majority of rural areas, regardless of what state, would resist those "thefts".

I suspect that you are correct...the argument would be moot if cops respected the 2A without reservation....and thus all anti-2A laws would be rendered ineffective and relegated to the dust bin of legislative history.

Sadly, there are a number of cops who would do their master's bidding willingly and comply with any unconstitutional order to forcibly disarm their fellow citizens. I'll wager anyone could name several states, off the top of their head, where this would be the case.

Not only "willingly", there are more than a few who either are or believe they are "morally superior" or "better trained" (use your own descriptive phrase) than the rest of us and that we shouldn't have guns. Period.

Just had two cars ransacked in my driveway the other night. Called our township police to stop by. Provided them two MP4 videos of the perpetrator. The guy also broke into another car up the street. They also provided the officer copies of their videos. As good as our police are in our township they get no access to private cameras. They don't want access because of the liability that attaches.

Amazon keeps records of every motion detected by its Ring doorbells, as well as the exact time they are logged down to the millisecond.
The details were revealed via a data request submitted by the BBC.
It also disclosed that every interaction with Ring's app is also stored, including the model of phone or tablet and mobile network used.
One expert said it gave Amazon the potential for even broader insight into its customers' lives.
"What's most interesting is not just the data itself, but all the patterns and insights that can be learned from it," commented independent privacy expert Frederike Kaltheuner. unquote

...just as a e4473 form is a gun registration scheme...the ring doorbell is a cop surveillance tool...and if a cop says he don't have access to your doorbell?...well, I have a wee bit of prime real estate for sale just a few miles east of Fort Fremont SC...that you just might be interested in...
