Even up in the "poor, 'high' unemployment" end of the state, we have trouble attracting applicants. There are more job openings than there are unemployed people.
I've got a pretty good idea who you're talking about. Good to hear. I'm probably going to pursue the industry I'm currently in which does not reflect at all what my degree(s) are in. Think blue collar vs white collar. After putting all the time and effort of getting a university degree I decided about 3/4 of the way through I didn't want an office job. Imagine that.
