DC carry law ruled "probably unconstitutional PI issued

Congress has given home rule to the DC Council. Congress could step in at any time and revoke that authority, but that doesn't seem too likely.

The DC Council are the ones that are causing all the trouble.



gotcha.

but why is the only federal law we aren't required to follow the 2nd amendment? think about it- we hem and haw about all these new federal regulations that are being passed, because we are going to be subject to them...but when it comes to the 2nd amendment, even with the highest court ruling that carry applies to the states, we somehow "miss that" at the state level.
