Something that I think we've all been saying for a long time is that we NEED term limits for the House and Senate. There are just too many 'conditioned monkeys' that just need to go in a bad way. It should have been part of the 22nd amendment, but there's no way that would have passed, which brings me to my point.
The house and Senate voting on an amendment to introduce term limits for them is a major conflict of interest and there's simply no way such an amendment would ever get off the ground if one were even to be proposed (and I really can't imagine anyone in congress actually proposing such a thing). If there were enough with some actual ethics and not just looking out for their own interests instead of the interests of the country, it MIGHT fly, but I doubt it. So that being said, is there any legal way for 'We The People' to introduce, vote on and hopefully pass an amendment (or maybe an amendment to the 22nd) that would create term limits for the House and Senate?
