I am new to this site, and have found it to be extremely eye-opening. So many States have so many different nuances in gun laws. I know a few States are overwhelmingly anti-gun, but a vast majority are doing (or trying to, anyway) the right thing. Couldn't 10 or15 States meet, and create a thorough constitutional firearms law, including open and concealed carry, that would be applicable in these States. As other States joined in, the pool of States would grow. I think it would also help to educate police officers as the laws would be the same. This is probably wishful thinking on my part, but I firmly believe there has to be a coordinated effort between and among members of this site to pick our "battles."
