Thirty years ago today, President Ronald Reagan, challenges Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall.. Cite, History Channel
What I wouldn't give to be thirty years younger, however, I would settle for a sitting President, that deserved to be mentioned in the same story as President Ronald Reagan... Oh well, in either scenario, one can surely dream.
Also on this day in 1878 at the age of 83, did die, one of my favorite poets and an American icon, William Cullen Bryant.
" Eloquence is the poetry of Prose'.. William Cullen Bryant
Two great American's in my humble opinion.
