I've been updating the MSSA schedule and wanted to forward a link to what we're doing in Montana, in case you're interested. IMO, everyone in every State should be getting these same laws passed. Particularly the smokeless powder.....

Here's what I'm posting on pages..... Let me know if you have questions.

MSSA’s pro-gun bills are getting introduced, getting assigned bill numbers, and assigned to committees for public hearing. We will send out a notification when public hearings on our bills are scheduled and it’s time for you to contact legislators. In the meantime, there are things you can do now to get yourself and your friends ready to help MSSA get these pro-gun bills passed. MSSA CAN’T DO THE JOB WITHOUT YOUR ONGOING HELP.

1. Become knowledgeable about the issues MSSA will have before the 2015 Legislature. http://www.mtssa.org/?page_id=158 Check this out and study up on the issues.

2. Learn about the legislative process, how it works, and how you and your friends can be involved in support of MSSA bills. We've provided informative and coaching information for you at http://progunleaders.org/legislative process BE SURE TO study this information. It is important!

3. You may check the current status of these bills at http://www.mtssa.org/?page_id=158. If you'd like to stay informed as these bills move through our Legislative process, there are two ways you can do that. 1) Send email to mssa@mtssa.org and request to be added to the email distribution list 2) "Like" and "get notifications" from the MSSA Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/montanashootingsportsassociation

4. Please recirculate this to all of your friends who are concerned about the RKBA in Montana. 5. If you have any questions or concerns, or need help with getting involved in the process and participating, you may contact the MSSA Legislative Coordinator, Elisa Delaurenti, at elisa@mtssa.org or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/MSSALegCoord

As a Legislatve Coordinator I am shocked - shocked, I tell you! - to find out that you do not seem to know there is a subforum specific to Montana.

Those of us in the other 56 states and the territories/commonwealths/dependencies are pretty much not interested in what goes on in Montana. (No offense, Montana folks. But just like you do nor rabidly follow everything going on elsewhere, we are the same.)

Please tell me you are a volunteer Legislative Coordinator, so I will not be kept awake thinking about how much money MSSA is throwing away on you.

stay safe.

Making them illegal for poaching, but legal for hunting and varmints, means that when someone poaches they get an additional charge. Kind of like when they use a firearm in the commission of a mugging.....

No.

None of this double standard BS.
If it is illegal to poach then it's illegal to poach.

None of this well he did not use xyz device(s) and so they should only get 2 years instead of 20.

I do not believe that poaching can be illegal unless the king (government) really does own all the wildlife.
