so my inspection sticker ran out. so i went to get another and was told i needed $300 worth of work due to "compression fittings" on my brake lines. compression fittings are illegal to have on brake lines and are meant for fuel lines so i said yuck and took my car to biddeford VIP today. told them the issue and sat down. was not OC when i walked in had my big winter jacket on, but became very hot and started to sweat within 10 minutes. The manager noticed this and suggested taking off the coat. I told him i was a permit holder and was concealing and didn't want to scare anyone by doing so. he then surprised me by saying "awww heck, take it off we don't care".
so i did, shot the stuff with him a bit and then he informed me i did NOT have compression fittings and i could get a sticker right there for $12.00 flat. so i OC'ed around VIP for about an hour while they did that and rotated my tires. had a Conversation with a Marine Vet who was delivering floor mats about OC , glocks and calibers. overall was a great visit and felt good to be welcomed by a large business that didn't care if i was armed or not :-D definitely bringing my business back to them :-D
