It has been a long time since I called for a fire mission, but this one is needed For Charlie.
Nahanni Fontaine is the Minister of Families in the Canadian Province of Manitoba. She has retweeted disgusting and defamatory statements about Charlie Kirk that I believe continue to foment political violence in the U.S and perhaps in Canada as well.
The front page of the Winnipeg Sun (Winnipeg is the largest city in Manitoba) calls for the Manitoba Premiere, Wab Kinew to remove Nahanni From his government. Many reports indicate that he has refused to do so.
We need protesters on the North Dakota, Manitoba border. We need to make it clear that we are not o.k. trading with Manitoba when its Premiere does not take action to clearly and unambiguously deliver appropriate consequences for the disgusting, indefensible online behaviour of a Manitoban Minister. Manitoba, and in particular, its Premiere must understand that this bad choice can have severe economic consequences.
Please note, I am not attacking free speech. If Nahanni were a private citizen I would not call for this fire mission.
Choices about armed vs. unarmed protest in North Dakota are of course your decisions to make.
Since Charlie’s assassination I am always open carrying. I don’t want the bastards to think that their threats of political violence can work.
Please keep the protest peaceful and lawful. If you carry firearms, do not threaten or menace with them. Do not physically block the border crossings. We are not yet at the civil disobedience stage (and hopefully we win andnever get there.)
