I'm coming to Gatlinburg next week for a few days. I live in Kentucky and we have permitless carry. Will I be able to legally carry in Tennessee based on that

No.....you must have a valid permit issued by some state to legally carry on your person in TN. You can have it in your vehicle without a permit.

i'm sure you meant, per forum rules, to provide TN statute reference of 39.17.1351(r) https://law.justia.com/codes/tennessee/2010/title-39/chapter-17/part-13/39-17-1351/

OP tis always a good idea to validate statutes & site/cite yourself as they change regularly...
[excellent site to start research https://handgunlaw.us/ ]

btw, i'm sure you remember TN's OC policy ~ Open Carry is only legal for those with a valid permit/license to carry a concealed firearm.

which i presume you were inquiring about on this the nation's premier OC site!
