Okay, so I think I've gotten myself out of the whole 'buy as many guns as possible' phase of my life and gotten more into the 'only buy guns that you actually have a need for' phase. I've sold all but 4 of my guns and my savage .308 will be for sale soon. Hell I may even sell my 10/22 but that's my teaching rifle in case I ever meet someone who wants to learn how to shoot.
Anyway, with the money I have left from the other guns I've sold, and the money I plan to get for the .308, I plan to get a new primary carry handgun. Concealability isn't an issue. I'd prefer something that's small enough to cover up but I'm not willing to sacrifice firepower over concealability. Basically I want the most firepower in the most controllable package that's the most accurate piece of weaponry that I can find.
Now I don't want to start a fight about this or anything, but when it comes to firepower, in my opinion, 10mm wins hands down, especially 15 rounds of 10mm! However .45 ACP was good enough for the military's 1911's for years and years and if it's good enough for the military, it's good enough for me.
It's late and the idea of getting a H&K USP Tactical just popped into my head so I'm basically just wondering, if money was not a factor, which would you choose and why?
And by the way, Thanks for tolerating yet another one of my 'either... or...' questions. You guys are about the most helpful group of gun nuts I've ever run into and I really respect y'alls opinion. So anyway, Thanks a lot for being there to answer all my questions.
edit; does the "y'all" thing give off the fact that I'm a redneck?!?
