• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.
  • The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.

2 OC Get-Together Events scheduled for October 2014 -- Parker and Colorado Springs:

-- Mark your Calendar so you don't forget (I mark mine so *I* don't forget)!

~ Event 1 ~
Sunday, 12 October 2014 @ 3:00pm in Parker:
IHOP (across from the Compass Bank)
11133 S Parker Rd.
Parker, CO 80134
(720) 851-8121

~ Event 2 ~
Sunday, 19 October 2014 @ 3:00pm in Colorado Springs:
Denny's (I-25 & W Bijou exit)
315 W Bijou St.
Colorado Springs, CO 80905
(719) 634-4955

*******************************************
And as always: Although our OC events mainly are for OC-ers & about OC-ing (of course), we invite others to attend also:

-- People who always/primarily CC their handgun.
-- People who don't carry EITHER way (OC or CC) but are looking into doing so.

Remember, most of us OC-ers ALSO have a CC permit...it's just that we usually OC. So we try to avoid the adversarial "us vs. them" relationship between OC & CC people often seen nowadays and instead, try to promote better relations and understanding between the two groups. And of course, we want to educate, welcome and encourage "newbies" who have never carried before so they will feel more comfortable out there carrying whichever way they choose (OC or CC).
********************************************
NOTE: No RSVP-ing is required here (it's highly unreliable & meaningless anyway) so not seeing anyone RSVP-ing here doesn't mean the event has been cancelled. They ALWAYS are "still on" unless I post here to the contrary. So far, NONE of these events have ever been cancelled. So, just show up (or not).

No...just tell the server/greeter you're here for a "meeting" and they should send you to my table (whichever one it is). When *I* arrive, I tell them there's "supposed to be a meeting" and if anyone asks about it, just send them over...

Please note that I am not likely to see or respond to posts here once I leave home (COS) as I can't do any WiFi/Internet stuff while driving! So, I would not see any recent queries posted here until I get to the OC Event's location and get online there (IF it's working that is -- sometimes it's not).

So...I can respond NOW because I am @ IHOP/Parker and online. I get to an event early to do some stuff online AND in case any attendees also arrive early...would not want them to think the event was cancelled if they do arrive early and no one is here.

Regards...
